Early MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition arrives for the Mi 11 Ultra in Europe
Xiaomi began the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition rollout outside China with its current range-leading device, the Mi 11 Ultra, with the phone receiving an early MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in Indonesia weeks ago. Since then, Xiaomi has sent out the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update to the EU and Global ROM models of the Mi 10T series and Poco F3. The company is now finally returning its sights to the Mi 11 Ultra where it all began.
The Mi 11 Ultra is currently receiving the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition OTA in Europe. The update arrives with the build designation "MIUI 12.5.10.0 RKAEUXM", showing that it's an OTA for the EEA version of the device. Owners of the global model of the Mi 11 Ultra will have to wait a while longer. It's important to note that this is a Mi Pilot release, and not currently available to the public. If previous rollouts are any indication, however, a public release should follow over the coming weeks.
The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update delivers the usual MIUI 12.5 features—swift performance, atomized memory, liquid storage, and focused algorithms. It also appears to bring Xiaomi's glorified RAM-swap feature, Virtual RAM. The September security patch is, of course, also included.
