The latest additions to ELEGOO's Saturn series have launched with cutting-edge features such as the Tilt Release Technology that might reduce print time and damage to the resulting model in the new top-end 4 Ultra. It also boasts a light source touted to yield smoother results and an AI-powered print-monitoring system.

ELEGOO has debuted the new Saturn 4 series with features such as a generous 218.88 x 122.88 x 220 millimeter (mm) build volume and high-res 12K Mono LCD screens. Then again, the flagship 4 Ultra improves on the vanilla 4's mechanical sensor-derived alerts and auto-leveling features with AI Intelligent Detection and Tilt Release Technology.

It upgrades the 4 Ultra's build so that its resin tank and screen can lift at an angle in order to free a model from the release film. ELEGOO asserts that this design choice will result in more streamlined printing sessions (with speeds of up to 5.5 seconds per layer) that are potentially easier and safer on the model.

The Saturn 4 Ultra also boasts an updated chip-on-board (COB) LED light source with a Fresnel Collimating Lens, while its new AI system is backed to watch, record (and even play back, if necessary) a print in real-time and warn the user of potential issues such as warping or extrusion failures.

The new flagship printer is touted to do all this straight out of the box, thereby suiting a beginner as well as a seasoned enthusiast. ELEGOO'S new Saturn 4 series is now available and starts at $299 - as does the preceding Saturn 3 Ultra with its current discount on Amazon.
