Anycubic touts its new Photon Mono M5 as capable of producing results in "12K Exquisite Detail" thanks to its 10.1-inch 11520*5120 LCD screen, further potentially enhanced with a 19x24 micron (μm) pixel size and a 480:1 contrast ratio to help ensure a finished product with sharp, clear edges.
The M5 is also compatible with the "self-developed" Photon Workshop 3.1 tool with a "new support algorithm" rated to make the removal of off-cuts such as a bottom valve easier and the final print more accurate compared to the model chosen with the user-friendly new Anycubic app.
The printer also comes with the OEM's latest kind of laser-cut build plate, backed to make sure the model stays on the platform where it should throughout the process - which, as the M5 is one of the newer kind of resin printer that produces its output 'upside-down', is a good thing.
On that note, it is also equipped with "dual linear rails" rated to move the platform without juddering or Z-axis discrepancies that may result in defects such as "layer grain". The Photon Mono M5 has been announced with a starting price of US$419 - however, the OEM is letting its first 2,000 units go for US$369 via its own store. instead.
