The Saturn 4 Ultra is Elegoo's first 3D printer to debut with a new kind of resin vat that can tilt automatically to create potentially improved release film layers (which might have also inspired the Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Max' Intelligent Release Control 2.0 and spill-resisting print bed).
The 4 Ultra is also rated to print layers at a rate of once every 5.5 seconds, which has earned it one of Fast Company's Next Big Things in Tech awards for 2024, alongside other winners such as the Honor Magic V3 for its ultra-thin foldable smartphone design and Lenovo Thinkbook 13x Gen 4 for its "stainless" magnesium alloy construction.
Elegoo has also equipped the 12K screen Saturn-series flagship is also equipped with other advanced 3D printing specs such as a Fresnel collimating lens and a chip-on-board (COB) light-source. It also has an AI-powered camera to monitor and even record a print so the user doesn't have to do so in person.
The Saturn 4 Ultra is currently available for $485.99 on Amazon.
