Dyson PencilVac ultra-slim cordless vacuum now available in more countries

Dyson has released the PencilVac Fluffycones cleaner in more countries. Unveiled in May 2025, this cordless vacuum cleaner is already available in markets like Japan and South Korea. Most recently, the household appliance brand has released the slim model in Australia, New Zealand and China.

In Australia, the PencilVac Fluffycones stick vacuum in Matte Black retails for A$949 (~$622), while the model is priced at NZ$1,049 (~$688) in New Zealand. In this region, customers are able to ‘Try for 45 days’ thanks to a money back guarantee. Meanwhile, customers in China can purchase the device for CNY 3,999 (~$561).

The PencilVac is the slimmest vacuum cleaner on the market, according to Dyson. It can flatten to 95 mm (~3.7 inches), making it easier to clean under furniture, with a slim 38 mm (~1.5 inches) handle, and it weighs just 1.8 kg (~4.0 lbs). The Hyperdymium 140k (140,000 rpm) motor offers up to 55 AW suction power, trapping 99.99% of particles measuring as little as 0.3 microns (~0.0003 mm). The Fluffycones brush is said to de-tangle long hair, with the four cones cleaning close to the edges of the room. The brush head can swivel 360° for ease of use, and the integrated LED light can help users see dirt and debris on the floor.

Plus, the PencilVac’s dust compression system reduces the frequency with which the bin needs to be emptied, and the vacuum should run for around half an hour at full power on a single charge. The battery is recharged when the device is returned to the magnetic charging dock. On top of this, various settings are available in the MyDyson app. The Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones cleaner is expected to be released in other markets such as the US and the UK in 2026, though exact launch dates for these countries have yet to be announced.
