Challenging Tesla Roadster 2, BYD U9, or Rimac Nevera R comes the Dreame robotic vacuum and mower brand to take on the world of electric hyper cars. Dreame's certification of the world's first 200,000 rpm motor will serve as the basis of the new Bugatti Veyron challenger.

While BYD is flaunting its 32,000 rpm electric motor set that allowed the U9 supercar to become the world's fastest electric vehicle, robotic vacuum and lawnmower maker Dreame announced it will beat it by leveraging its certified 200,000 rpm motor technology.

This performance unit recently got certified by Frost & Sullivan as the "world's 1st 200,000RPM high-speed digital motor," and has been deployed commercially in Dreame's pricey X50 Ultra robotic vacuums. This engineering achievement has given Dreame the confidence to start bringing its multiyear electric vehicle production plan into fruition.

Just like Xiaomi when it decided to enter the EV business, Dreame, which is currently the number one vacuum maker in Asia, assembled an R&D team of engineers that currently counts more than a thousand people. The goal is to launch the fastest electric vehicle in the world that will be positioned in the ultra luxury segment of hyper cars in the Bugatti Veyron class.

The current fastest production car is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, which hit a certified top speed of 304.77 mph or 490.48 km/h a few years back. Given that BYD is closing in on that record with the 32,000+ rpm quad-motor U9 that managed to achieve 293 mph on Germany's ATP test circuit on August 8, Dreame's aspirations (pun not intended) are not out of the question.

The fastest electric car, scheduled for a 2027 launch, will use Dreame's 200,000 rpm motor technology in the powertrain, but also leverage its AI-powered home automation and communication knowledge. The goal is to seamlessly integrate the buyer's smart home, car, and mobile experience for a more human-centric experience, down to adapting the voice interaction with the vehicle's AI assistant to the user's emotional state.

It remains to be seen if Dreame will be able to reach its emotionally intelligent ecosystem goals by 2028, but the mechanicals of the hyper EV seem to be within reach thanks to its patented fastest electric motors.
