Images of a range of new IKEA smart home products have appeared. In July 2025, the company announced that it would release over 20 new devices in early 2026. Seven of these were recently spotted in the Distributed Compliance Ledger (DCL) as Matter-certified devices.
In a report by ifun.de, several images of upcoming IKEA smart home products seem to have been leaked. The first image (below) shows the Bilresa dual button and scroll wheel smart switches. It is worth noting that this design differs greatly from an earlier supposed leaked image of the Bilresa dual button switch.
A second image (below) shows the Timmerflotte temperature and humidity sensor, the Alpstuga air quality monitor and the Myggspray Wireless motion sensor. Each of these products is listed in the DCL. These images demonstrate that the design of the Alpstuga differs greatly from the older Vindstyrka air quality sensor. Similarly, the Myggspray has a round design, unlike the older square Vallhorn Wireless motion sensor.
The final set of photos (below) includes two previously unknown products: the Tofsmygga outdoor smart plug and the Grillplats indoor smart plug. The latter appears to be similar to the brand’s Tretakt smart plug, with a rounder design. The last product shown here is the Myggbett Door/window sensor, which has a similar appearance to the older Parasoll Door and window sensor.
It remains to be seen precisely when in 2026 these new IKEA smart home products will be released, and how much they will cost.
