Ecovacs has unveiled the Deebot X11 robot vacuum and mop in China. This new model is relatively powerful as a vacuum, said to deliver up to 24,800 Pa suction power. There is a central ZeroTangle 3.0 roller brush, said to prevent hair from getting trapped, and an extending side brush.
The Deebot X11 features the brand’s Ozmo Roller 2.0 mop, delivering constant pressure and fresh water to remove stains. The antibacterial nylon roller mop can also extend with TruEdge 3.0 to clean close to the wall. Plus, the robot can intelligently detect stains and adjust cleaning as necessary. The X11 has a slim body, measuring 98 mm (~3.9 inches) tall, so it can clean under many items of furniture, and TruePass, a four-wheel drive system, enables it to climb over low-lying objects. It uses dToF technology for navigation, and the AIVI 3D 3.0 system helps it to avoid obstacles while cleaning close to them.
Ecovacs’ Deebot X11 is powered by a larger 6,400 mAh battery; according to the company, this should allow it to clean an area measuring 1,000 m² (~10,764 ft²) on a single charge. It will automatically return to the dock to charge, and PowerBoost “instant supercharging” enables it to charge by 6% in three minutes. At the dock, the roller mop is washed and dried with hot water and hot air, and the dust bin is automatically emptied. Ecovacs suggests that it allows for up to 150 days of hands-free cleaning.
In China, the Ecovacs Deebot X11 Water Tank Edition retails for CNY 5,499 (~$769), while the version with a docking station that can be connected to your home’s plumbing is priced at CNY 5,899 (~$825). It remains to be seen when these products could be released in other markets like the US, where the Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCycle Robot Vacuum and Mop is already available for $1,499.99.
