Square Enix has released Dragon Quest Builders 2 for the PlayStation 4. This title builds on its predecessor with a unique setting within the relevant universe, and all the new crafting and battle opportunities that come with it. The game has a recommended price of US$59.99, or $79.99 for a Digital Deluxe version.

Square Enix has unleashed Dragon Quest Builders 2 onto the PlayStation 4 platform. This new title, which takes over from its 2016 predecessor, is a standalone block-building role-playing game (RPG) this time around. It also takes place on an entirely new location - the "Isle of Awakening" - within its pre-existing universe.

Players can aim to become a Master Builder by completing missions and tasks for various NPCs. However, the studio also promises the odd battle for variety. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is also the first of its series to have an online multiplayer mode. It will start at US$59.99, or $20 more for a Digital Deluxe edition through the PS Store.

The latter prospect includes 1 Season Pass, which contains 3 DLC packs. They allow the player to build in a Modernist style, as well as 2 others with Aquarium and Hotto (another new location) themes. The Season Pass also unlocks specific avatar-customization options and recipes. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available through retailers or the Store from now.
