Diablo IV Switch 2 release date and price revealed

Rumors about Diablo IV coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 have been circulating for quite a while ever since Rod Fergusson mentioned the possibility in April last year. Finally, more concrete information has now surfaced, bringing pricing information and a possible release date.
Activision Blizzard has remained silent on a Switch 2 port for Diablo IV, but leaker billbil-kun has uncovered that the game will land on the handheld on September 15 or 18. The leaker is confident about the two dates, but can’t confirm which one exactly. Furthermore, there will not be a physical cartridge, and the physical box will include a code to download the game. Nothing surprising here.
As for price, Diablo 4 will reportedly cost $70 in the US. It is unclear at this point if the code will include the Lord of Hatred DLC. The leaker adds that there could be an announcement at Gamescom scheduled from August 26 to August 30.
Diablo IV was first released for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in June 2023, with the Lord of Hatred DLC arriving in April this year.
