The lowest price for the Core i7, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD SKU is $699 USD, but users can double the RAM and storage for about $200 more. If the faster graphics performance or 16:10 aspect ratio of the newer XPS 13 9300 models are unexciting, then the older XPS 13 7390 may be worthwhile.
The latest Dell XPS 13 as of this writing is the XPS 13 9310 to succeed last year's XPS 13 9300. The model immediately before that would be the XPS 13 7390. Dell is now holding a sale on the XPS 13 7390 likely to get rid of the remaining stock and to make room for the newer versions.
Users can apply the code '150OFFXPS' at checkout to drop the price down to $699 if configured with the Core i7-10510U CPU, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB M.2 SSD. Bumping these specifications to the Core i7-10710U CPU with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD instead will cost a total of $899 which is still a decent deal for what is one of the most popular flagship Windows Ultrabooks in the market.
Potential buyers should keep in mind that the XPS 13 7390 uses an older 16:9 chassis design when compared to the newer 16:10 XPS 13 9300 or 9310. Graphics editors should also consider the pricier Ice Lake or Tiger Lake CPU options instead as the Comet Lake-U series is severely lacking in GPU performance. For web browsing, streaming, travel, and notetaking, however, the base $699 configuration will suffice.

There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
