Reviews for the Dell Inspiron 15-5559-5088
Source: Laptop Mag

The Dell Inspiron 15 5000 is a capable laptop, offering strong performance for the price, above-average battery life and a well-made chassis with a comfy, soft-touch finish. This notebook will definitely do a fine job with day-to-day activities, but the default 1366 x 768 display provides dull, washed-out colors that you'll notice every time you look at a picture or video.

Model: With the market already saturated with laptops, Dell inspires users with a fresh take on its Inspiron 15 5000 series. At first glance, it evokes a solid impression which means business. Thus, it tips the scales towards the heavier side with a weight of 5.4 lb (2.45 kg) and a thickness of 0.94” (2.39 cm). Built mainly to appeal laptop users instead of the tablet-crowd, it is equipped with a 15” display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Colors and brightness are of average quality. Performance-wise, it runs on 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 520 adapter. In addition, it comes with a 1 TB 5,400-rpm SATA hard drive. Decked with a full-size island-style backlit keyboard, usability will not be affected even under low-lighting conditions.
The touchpad on the Inspiron 15 is wide and responsive. The connectivity includes USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, and a memory card slot. Networking is supported by both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, Dell offers an Intel RealSense camera, which is not only for capturing images, but is also capable of gesture control and enabling gaming with depth sensing. The Windows 10 system delivers an above average battery life. Thus, the Inspiron 15 will certainly draw the attention of many.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
