Dell 15 D15260

The Dell 15 D15260 is reviewed as a practical everyday laptop that prioritizes reliability, usable performance, and essential features over premium design or high-end power. Reviewers note solid productivity value, but criticize its dated build, limited battery life, and performance constraints from single-channel memory.

Pros

+ Reliable everyday performance
+ Comfortable full-size keyboard
+ Practical port selection
+ Large SSD option
+ Suitable for students

Cons

- Short battery life
- Dated plastic design
- Single-channel memory limits
- Display lacks vibrancy
- Not performance-focused

The Dell 15 D15260 is a mainstream 15.6-inch laptop aimed at students, office users, and general productivity buyers. It uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor with Intel Arc 130T integrated graphics, 16 GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1 TB SSD in the reviewed configuration. Reviewers praise its steady everyday performance, comfortable keyboard, practical port selection, and suitability for browsing, document work, streaming, and light multitasking. The Full HD IPS display is usable, though not especially vibrant, and the overall plastic design feels dated rather than premium. Battery life is a notable weakness, with reported real-world use around four to five hours. With an average review score of 72.5 percent, the Dell 15 D15260 is positioned as a safe, reliable workhorse rather than an ambitious or standout laptop.

Reviews for the Dell 15 D15260

74.5% Dell 15 D15260 Review: Arrow Lake-H student and daily productivity laptop that does just enough | Notebookcheck
Dell’s 15 D15260 is a budget productivity laptop featuring the Intel Arrow Lake-H Core Ultra 5 225H. While the performance for regular productivity is acceptable, Dell seems to be playing it a bit too safe in order to keep the price under $750 (~₹80,000).

Alienware 15 First Look: I Love the $1,299 Price, But Not the Specs
Source: PC Mag English
With the Alienware 15, I’m a bit more bearish than I usually am when giving a laptop a first look—and I tend to give an untested laptop the benefit of the doubt. But I have two reasons why. First, I have high expectations not only from an Alienware machine (the company has a hard-won reputation for premium quality, after all), but also from any laptop that costs much more than $1,000, especially a gaming model. I’m just as deeply sensitive to getting the most for your money as I am to the expected life of the product. And the RTX 4050 launched in laptops in early 2023. Oof! Second, I’ve written and edited enough gaming-laptop reviews over the years to have a good idea of how these configurations will perform, particularly with GPUs we’ve tested dozens of times.

First look: The Alienware 15 proves you don't need to spend $2,000 for a gaming laptop that actually works
Source: XDA Developers English
Look, Alienware 15 doesn't have anything you can't already get elsewhere. But that's not the point. The point is that now you can get it from Alienware, with everything that brand stands for. Great cooling systems, a penchant for performance, and a quirky laptop chassis that nobody will mistake for another manufacturer.

70% Dell 15 (2026) Review: Practical, Reliable, and a Little Too Safe?
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The Dell 15 makes its priorities clear. It is not trying to compete on design or push high-end performance. Instead, it focuses on getting the basics right for everyday use. The keyboard is comfortable enough for long sessions, performance stays steady for regular work and multitasking, and features like the full-size layout and practical port selection make it easy to use as a daily machine. At the same time, the compromises are easy to spot. The display is functional but not vibrant, the plastic build does not feel particularly premium, and battery life, at around four to five hours in my use, means you will be reaching for the charger during the day. It is also worth noting that the review unit uses a 1TB SSD, while the highest currently available variant in India, at 512 GB, is priced at Rs.

75% Dell 15 (D15260) review: A modest refresh that sticks to the basics
Source: 91mobiles English
The Dell 15 (D15260) is a classic example of a laptop that focuses on getting the basics right without trying to do too much. Our unit comes at a price point of Rs 77,890. It delivers respectable everyday performance thanks to Intel's Core Ultra 5 processor, a good-quality display, and a practical feature set that covers most day-to-day needs. That said, it's clear where compromises have been made. The design feels dated, the single-channel memory holds back some performance, and battery life is below what you'd expect from a modern laptop in this segment. This is a machine best suited for students, office users, and anyone looking for a reliable workhorse for tasks like browsing, document editing, video streaming, and light multitasking.
