Reviews for the Dell Latitude 14-3470
Source: Business News Daily

If you need a work laptop that lasts and lasts, the Latitude 14 3000 is a pretty good option, since the system can run for more than 10 hours on a single charge. Plus, my review configuration boasts solid security, a durable design and fast performance. Its mediocre keyboard makes it hard to recommend to workers who do a lot of typing, though, and its dull display is also disappointing.

The Latitude 3470 is a Dell laptop forming part of the 3000 series. This model has been designed for those users looking for a work machine that is reasonable priced. This Dell 14-inch laptop has an understated appearance. Black in colour, the only real embellished seen on the unit’s casing is the appearance of a Dell logo on the top cover of the unit.

The Dell Latitude 14's internal components provide solid performance, and I like that you can get more than 10 hours of juice from the six-cell battery. However, the stiff keyboard makes typing uncomfortable, and the display is dull and imprecise, so this is not a system I'd use for watching videos.

Model: The Dell Latitude 14-3470 is another 14 inch laptop built for business usage. With Intel Core i5 6200U 2.3 Ghz CPU, 8 GB 1600Mhz DDR3L RAM, integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU and 128 GB SSD, it is a laptop capable to accomplish most business tasks. Its anti-glare 14-inch HD LED display features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels for sharp and accurate images. With a size of 34.20 x 24.33 x 2.31 cm and a weight of only 1.81 kg, it is a lightweight and convenient device for people on-the-go.
The laptop features a cylindrical lithium ion battery with 6 cells and comes with pre-installed Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) installed, which can be upgraded to Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (64-bit). Thus, the device is ready to go. For wireless connectivity, it features a Dell Wireless 1802 Dual Band (2x2) and Bluetooth 4.1 adapter. Its connectivity includes an SD card reader, a USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 15-pin D-Sub VGA port, a RJ-45 port, a combo headphone / microphone jack and a DC power-in port.
Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrated GPU (GT2) with 24 EUs found on some Skylake CPU models (15 W ULV series).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
6500U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

66.67%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
