Casio launched over 20 new watches in May 2025 across G-Shock, Oceanus, Edifice, and Classic lines. Highlights include new titanium Oceanus Mantas, modular G-Shocks, budget-friendly AQS820 solar hybrids, and retro Edifice chronographs.

After a busy month for April leaks, we're now heading towards the end of May - and this month was also equally stacked for the Japanese timepiece company - if not more. Nearly 20 new models were added to Casio's lineup, and most of them are still available to buy (although some have been sold out). From premium titanium chronographs to affordable solar-powered hybrids, here’s a full rundown of every model that officially launched during the month.

G-Shock and G-Lide Series

The long-awaited MTG-B4000 series was officially launched with two models: MTG-B4000B-1A2JF and MTG-B4000-1AJF. As we covered earlier during the leak cycle, both watches feature a carbon and stainless steel Dual Core Guard structure, new slim profile (14.4 mm), and high-end specs including Bluetooth syncing, solar charging, and sapphire crystal. Pricing is set at ¥176,000 (~$1,121) and ¥165,000 (~$1,051) respectively.

Meanwhile, Casio also released the MTG-B2000YBD-2AJF, an upgraded version of the 2021 MTG-B2000YBD-1A with a carbon-fiber bezel and navy-black color scheme. Priced at ¥181,500 (~$1,250), it has all the high-end MT-G features and sticks with a chunky 55mm build.

On the surf watch side, the GBX-100S-1JF and GBX-100S-2JF from the G-Lide series went live in Japan. These new models use skeleton-style resin cases, stainless-steel bezels, and focus heavily on tide data, lap tracking, and workout logs through the Casio app. Price: ¥28,600 (~$182).

Another collab hit the shelves with the limited-edition GW-M5610U based model made in partnership with Japanese musician Tamio Okuda. It includes custom text on the display, a red-and-black aesthetic, and ships in August for ¥35,000 (~$223).

Casio also pushed out five models in the super-popular "Black and Bold Red" lineup: DW-5600BBR-1JF, GD-010BBR-1JF, GX-56BBR-1JF, GA-700BBR-1AJF, and GA-B2100BBR-1AJF. All feature matte black cases with deep red accents, priced between ¥14,300 (~$91) and ¥24,750 (~$158).

Oceanus Series

The Oceanus Manta line received two waves of new watches. Early in May, Casio launched the OCW-S400A-5AJF and OCW-S40-2AJF (three-hand models), and OCW-S7000E-2AJF and OCW-S7000E-2AJF (chronographs). All use titanium builds, sapphire crystal, solar-powered quartz movements, and Bluetooth syncing.

Later in the month, Casio followed up with the OCW-S6000PB-7AJF. This 600-unit limited model features a sapphire-cut bezel with 72 facets and a silver-blue dial. It launches in June for ¥385,000 (~$2,700).

G-Shock Collabs and Limited Editions

G-Shock went heavy on collabs this May. The Offspring x DW-5600 "Cement Edition" was revealed, but limited to Friends & Family raffle only.

Casio also released a Crocs collaboration GA2100CROCS25-7 featuring a glow-in-the-dark resin case and modular strap that integrates with Crocs' footwear rivets.

The G-5600SFJ-9, a new collab with Surfrider Foundation Japan, was officially announced with a bright yellow bio-resin build, 200 m resistance, and solar charging. Launch is set for June at ¥20,900.

Another collab came in the form of the DW-6900 x Montedio Yamagata, priced at ¥19,800. It keeps the base DW-6900U design but adds a red reverse LCD, team crest, and matte all-black build.
