Casio has announced the launch date of the CRW-001-1 Ring Watch in three more countries: the US, Australia and Singapore. The wearable, also known as the CRW001-1, arrived in Japan earlier this month.
Customers in the US will be able to purchase the Ring Watch from December 26th; an exact release time is not given. We already know that the wearable will sell for $120 in this country. In Australia, the CRW-001 will be available via the Casio online store from 10 AM on January 13th. The product is listed with an A$249 RRP. On this site, the wearable is described as an ‘exclusive collector's item’ supplied in a limited quantity.
According to the Casio Singapore Instagram account, the Ring Watch will be available from January 8th at 11 AM. Here, it will sell for S$199. Plus, customers can go and look at the wearable in person at the G-Shock ION Orchard Store from December 24th. The Casio CRW001 Ring Watch has also appeared in an official product listing in the UK. However, it is unclear precisely when the wearable will launch in this market.
The Casio ring can be used to display dual time and offers hourly flash alerts and a stopwatch. Looks-wise, it has a metal casing with a design similar to the Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1 watch (curr. $469 at Amazon).
