Although it costs US$2,799, the Bugatti Carbone Limited Edition smartwatch can be considered a budget offering when compared to other timepieces that were built by Jacob & Co for the iconic high-performance auto maker. However, it is only coming in a limited run of 2,500 units, of which 2,000 have been already sold, and it sports a generous and industry-exclusive 5-year warranty. Now, a firmware update drops with a new watch face as well as an innovative functional feature.
The new watch face is called Fathoms and comes with six colors and brings together beauty and functionality. However, the best part of this update in terms of functionality is the BioAge feature. According to its makers, this provides the users with "a revolutionary way to monitor their health" by comparing the biological age with the chronological age.
This smartwatch has over 1,000 components and features two heart rate sensors for improved accuracy. Its list of highlights includes advanced HRV display, automatic brightness adjustment, a comprehensive set of sports and health tracking, as well as a generous battery life.
The ones who will get one of the remaining 500 units will receive it in a wooden box made of vegan leather and sustainable wood alongside a silicone and a nylon silicone strap, as well as a USB-C charger with a USB-A adapter also included. Those who are looking for a cheaper Bugatti watch can also pre-order the Ceramique Titane Edition, which is currently listed for US$1,690 with all four bezels included, or US$1,290 with a single bezel. Last but not the least, bargain hunters with a passion for aviation could grab the Garmin MARQ Aviator off Amazon for US$1,399 instead of US$1,950 for the time being.
