The first half of 2027 will be an exciting time for Apple customers. That’s because, on the one hand, Apple is set to launch a brand-new 14-inch MacBook Pro, which is expected to come equipped with the Apple M7 and adopt the design of the high-end Apple MacBook Ultra. On the other hand, according to Bloomberg, the Apple iPad Pro ($1,199 on Amazon) will also get a successor next spring.
The next-generation iPad Pro is expected to retain the design and the 11-inch or 13-inch display of the current model. Upgrades are primarily expected in terms of performance. It is not yet known whether the tablet will use the Apple M6 or already the Apple M7. The chip could be cooled with a vapor chamber to improve performance under sustained load, though Apple reportedly has not yet made a final decision on the cooling system for the flagship tablet. In addition, more iPhones are set to hit the market in the spring of 2027 than in any previous spring.
This is because Apple is reportedly postponing the iPhone 18 until early next year in order to focus on the iPhone 18 Pro (Max) and the iPhone Ultra in September. The budget-friendly iPhone 18e and the successor to the iPhone Air are also expected during the same period. The iPhone Air 2 is rumored to receive at least three significant upgrades: the Apple A20 Pro ARM chip, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and longer battery life – though it remains unclear whether this will be achieved solely through more efficient hardware or also through a larger battery.
