Black Shark 2 will make it onto Indian shores on May 27
The Black Shark 2 is Xiaomi's latest phone aimed at gamers. Its angular chassis, dedicated features and 12GB RAM option may indeed help it appeal to this audience. It was originally launched in March 2019 to the Chinese market, and was subsequently rolled out to Europe later that same month.
However, the new Snapdragon 855-powered device remains unavailable in some other markets. They have included India - until now. Xiaomi has announced that the Black Shark 2 will be released in this country on May 27, 2019. However, the time and location for this event has not been revealed yet.
The phone's price for this market also remain unknown at the present time. Should it mirror the structure of the Chinese market, the Black Shark 2 could start at about Rs. 32,500 (about US$463, or 3,200 yuan) for a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB in internal storage.
