Although the launch date of the next Dragon Age game is not set in stone yet, BioWare has recently published a teaser on Twitter that labels December 4 as "Dragon 4ge Day" so at least some kind of Dragon Age 4-related official announcement is definitely in the pipeline. Sadly, this highly-anticipated title might launch in 2022.
Dragon Age has been around for a decade and this franchise is not going away anytime soon. However, nothing is certain when it comes to the launch date of the next title in the series, namely Dragon Age 4: EA CFO, Jake Jorgensen, has recently revealed that this game "is in the works and probably comes after fiscal '22" and nothing more. Luckily, an official gameplay teaser/announcement might come in exactly a month.
Yesterday, BioWare posted a message on Twitter that reminded everyone about Dragon Age's tenth anniversary and revealed that the community party scheduled to take place on December 4 might have a special Dragon Age 4-related surprise in store. This is the key phrase revealing that Dragon Age 4 might be closer than 2022, after all: "See you on 12/4 for Dragon 4ge Day!"
The Dragon Age franchise arrived with Dragon Age: Origins back in November 2009, and was followed by Dragon Age II (2011) and Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014). While the last one is available for Windows, PlayStation 3/4, and Xbox 360/One, the first two Dragon Age titles mentioned above can be enjoyed on OS X, Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
If you're one of those familiar with the Dragon Age universe, feel free to drop a comment and share your thoughts with the rest of us. If you avoided these titles so far, you might want to give them a chance.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
