BioWare has just released a new Dragon Age trailer, two years after revealing the game during the 2018 edition of The Game Awards show. Although there is no number in the name, we will keep calling this title Dragon Age 4 until the release of at least a beta version.
The aforementioned trailer is only slightly longer than one minute and shows no gameplay footage. On the other hand, the new Dragon Age trailer reveals that the hero of the new installment in the series will not be "a chosen one" as has been the norm in the RPG area of the gaming landscape for decades. Solas, an elven apostate hedge mage and an expert on the Fade available as a companion and a romance option for a female elven Inquisitor in Dragon Age: Inquisition shows up at the end of the trailer.
The last game to be added to this franchise is Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was released no less than six years ago. That game received very favorable reviews, but living up to the expectations seems like nearly an impossible task for BioWare now, soon after Mark Darrah (Dragon Age: Inquisition executive producer) and Casey Hudson (general manager) have both left the studio.
