Base Oppo Find X10 high-res camera samples teased ahead of launch

Days after Oppo confirmed the launch date and color options of its upcoming Oppo Find X10 series, the company has showcased a couple of shots taken with the base Oppo Find X10. The newly released high-resolution camera samples provide a clearer look at the device's image processing capabilities, particularly focusing on human subjects, skin tones, and overall color accuracy ahead of the official September 22 launch event.

For this generation, the base Find X10 is receiving a substantial imaging upgrade, featuring dual 200MP sensors for its main and telephoto lenses. The main camera is anticipated to use the ISOCELL HPC sensor, which shares the same large 1/1.3-inch sensor size as the ISOCELL HP2 found in recent Samsung Galaxy S Ultra flagships.

The camera system is once again co-developed with Hasselblad and reportedly incorporates a dedicated color sensor capable of collecting light and color data across 24 distinct sampling channels. This hardware combination is designed to maintain natural skin tones and realistic lighting without heavily relying on aggressive digital over-processing. The telephoto lens will also house a 200MP sensor, rumored to measure 1/1.56 inches, while the ultra-wide camera is expected to rely on the well-established ISOCELL JN5 sensor.

The provided image samples, which were captured in bright outdoor lighting conditions, reveal a high level of detail and a natural bokeh effect, even when standard portrait modes are not actively engaged. The color processing appears balanced and true to life, avoiding the heavily oversaturated look common in many modern smartphone cameras. Notably, the darker background areas in the images remain clean and free of the visual noise or grainy textures that have occasionally impacted other devices using similar high-resolution sensors.

However, the samples do show that in instances of direct, harsh sunlight hitting the subject, there can be a slight loss of detail in the brightest highlights. Overall, the early glimpse indicates a refined camera system that produces polished, highly detailed photographs right out of the device.

The Find X10 series is expected to debut with three distinct models: the standard Find X10, the Find X10 Pro Max, and the Find X10 E.
