Ayaneo's newest handheld gets a special edition that you can't buy

Another day, another Ayaneo sharing session, and like the last three, this brings another version of the Konkr Pocket Advance. Unfortunately, unlike the other variants, this one won't be available to buy.

Officially called the Konkr Pocket Advance Developers' Special Edition, the handheld has a translucent black shell just like the Onyx Ice version announced a few days ago. However, it swaps the grey buttons for red ones alongside a few black buttons such as the Start and Select buttons.

There's no mention of the specs of this version, so we can't say if it has the same RAM and internal storage capacity as the commercially-available variants.  

Ayaneo says this version is made exclusively for developers who join its newly launched Developer Incentive Program. Members of the program will receive prototype units that will help them bring their ideas to life.

The program targets experienced developers who already have finished works, but will also be open to developers who are still in the creation process. The program is open to developers across the globe and Ayaneo says the ideas can be an app, a tool, or a gaming experience.

In addition to the Developer Incentive Program, it has also been announced that there will be an Ayaneo Developer Community that will be launched soon. The aim of the community is to create a platform for developers to communicate with each other and collaborate on projects.
