Doom Edition Handheld now available for $249 in limited 3,000-unit run

Blaze Entertainment recently unveiled a Doom-themed collector's bundle for its upcoming Evercade Nexus handheld, timed to coincide with the launch of The Doom Collection cartridge. The Limited Edition Evercade Nexus Doom Edition is capped at 3,000 units worldwide and sold exclusively via Funstock for £199.99 / $249.99 / €239.99. Pre-orders opened on August 7, ahead of a full release on October 30.

The special-edition console pairs a Doom-branded Nexus handheld with a hard shell carrying case, a comic book, a keyring, a double-sided poster, custom packaging and a numbered certificate of authenticity. It will also ship with an oversized boxed version of The Doom Collection cartridge itself.

The cartridge compiles eight classic campaigns, including the original Doom and Doom II alongside expansion packs like TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, and both SIGIL episodes, plus a dedicated deathmatch map pack built for local multiplayer. Evercade has added exclusive extras such as new gameplay modifiers, adjustable violence settings and additional multiplayer modes. The standard cartridge will launch separately on October 30 for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99.
