Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini gets a price increase, but only in China for now

A few weeks ago, Ayaneo announced that some of its handhelds will be getting a price increase due to the higher cost of components, such as RAM and storage. It has now been reported that the handheld manufacturer has issued a statement confirming a price increase for its cheapest device, the Pocket Air Mini.
The Pocket Air Mini was released last year, first in China, before a global release. When it launched in China, it had a starting price of CNY 599 (~$87/€75) for the base model, and CNY 699 (~$102/€87) for the high-tier configuration. Now, Ayaneo is raising prices by CNY 100 (~$15/€12).
The price increase, which will take effect from April 9, will see the base model with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage now retail for CNY 699 (~$102/€87), while the 3GB RAM version with 64GB of storage will cost CNY 799 (~$117/€100). Ayaneo has also increased the price of the B.Duck special edition, which also has 3GB RAM and 64GB of storage, from CNY 799 (~$117/€100) to CNY 899 (~$131/€112).
Ayaneo is yet to announce a price increase for the global version of the handheld, which has a price tag of $99.99 for the base model, $109.99 for the 3GB RAM version, and $119.99 for the B.Duck special edition. However, the base model is unavailable on Ayaneo's website as at the time of writing. If you want to purchase it, you can buy it on Amazon for $119.99.
