Ayaneo Flip 1S: Ayaneo reveals imminent launch date for two new OLED gaming handhelds

Ayaneo appears to be keeping to its promise of launching its next clamshell gaming handheld this July. Arriving in the wake of rivals like the GPD Win Mini 2025 and OneXPlayer G1 (curr. $1,419.95 on Amazon), the Ayaneo Flip 1S will come in dual screen and built-in keyboard variants just like its predecessor.

As we have discussed previously, Ayaneo has redesigned the Flip for its 1S generation rather than merely dropping in a more powerful APU. On top of that, both Flip 1S variants feature 7-inch and 144 Hz OLED displays that boast up to 800 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Flip 1S DS' secondary IPS display spans 3.5 inches with a 1,620 x 1,080-pixel resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio.

Both Flip 1S models offer TMR joysticks and a CNC top cover, too. Potentially, the rest of the device sticks with a plastic construction, though. Regardless, Ayaneo has now indicated that the Flip 1S DS and Flip 1S KB will be available between July 7 and July 13. As is often the case, the company will offer the pair through Indiegogo first, the campaign for which can already be viewed in its preview state.
