The Epic Games Store has been giving away Sable for the last week in a deal worth $24.99 for those who have not redeemed the game when it was previously available for free. With Thursday now rolling around, Epic Games has pivoted to offering two games that it typically sells for $19.99 apiece.
On the one hand, Backpack Hero is a roguelike title with a particular focus on item management. Also available on the Nintendo Switch, Backpack Hero averages 76/100 on Metacritic and 72/100 on OpenCritic for its PC release. Likewise, the game has achieved a Very Positive rating on Steam from over 4,000 user reviews. For reference, Backpack Hero can be played on macOS and Windows when redeemed from the Epic Games Store.
On the other hand, Figment can only be played on Windows through Epic Games despite macOS and Linux versions distributed on Steam. Both games are said to offer full support for Xbox controller (curr. $64 on Amazon), though. Incidentally, Figment is also the better-received game of the two with averages of 77/100 and 79/100 on Metacritic and OpenCritic, respectively. This week's PC giveaways will be available to add to your Epic Games library from 15:00 UTC today until 14:59 UTC on July 10. Please see Epic Games' Backpack Hero and Figment store listings for more information.
