Audio-Technica's power saving USB-C earbuds now available

The recently released Audio-Technica ATH-CKD30C wired USB-C earphones are now available from major retailers including Amazon for an MSRP of $224.99. They are available in black or white at this price.
The ATH-CKD30C eliminates the worry of running out of power in the middle of music listening at the gym or multiplayer gaming, with a sustainable battery-free design to help reduce their environmental impact.
Lithium-ion batteries require mining of lithium metal, which destroys the landscape and uses much of the fresh water supply around mines. The disposal of spent batteries is problematic due to the lack of available technologies and capacity to recycle them, causing further environmental damage due to toxic waste from spent cells in landfills. The ATH-CKD30C helps save the earth by eliminating toxic lithium-ion batteries.
The Audio-Technica earphones also eliminate audio latency inherent to wireless earphones for quicker FPS response, and its in-line remote has a microphone to support in-game chats. A built-in DAC, which includes two selectable EQ modes, Bass Boost and Clear Voice, outputs audio through 10 mm drivers, with a frequency response of 5 Hz to 25 kHz. The USB-C connector is compatible with laptops, tablets, and phones, supporting audio inputs up to 96 kHz, 24-bit.
As an inherent con, the A-T earbuds do not support wireless connections, so their cable can get in the way during gym sets, and it doesn't come with a cable clip to help reduce tangling. They also do not have active noise cancellation, although they do come with four eartip sizes to help ensure a proper fit for passive noise cancellation.
