Asus has now revealed the NUC 14 Pro AI+ mini-PC, having showcased another version of essentially the same device at the tail end of December. As with the NUC 14 Pro AI, the NUC 14 Pro AI+ utilises Intel Lunar Lake processors like the Core Ultra 7 258V and Core Ultra 9 288V. However, it turns out that the mini-PC also contains a few other noteworthy features on which the regular NUC 14 Pro AI misses out.
For instance, the company has designed the NUC 14 Pro AI+ with a translucent body in contrast to the all-black look of the NUC 14 Pro AI and its Intel Meteor Lake-based predecessor (curr. $779 on Amazon). This motif does not extend to the device's bottom though, which has a plain black finish.
Likewise, Asus has included an opaque top panel, within which sits an E-Ink display that supports various customisation options via a built-in app. Allegedly, content will remain visible even after the device is shut off and without emitting harmful blue light.
Moreover, the mini-PC offers features like Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 and M.2 2280 NVMe storage. Unfortunately, Asus has not confirmed when the NUC 14 Pro AI+ will be available, let alone for how much. Please see the company's website for more details.
