Reviews for the Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 ME560CG (K00G)
Little stylus giant. Fonepad goes smartphone. Everyone is making their smartphones bigger. Asus shrinks its Fonepad and turns its 7-inch tablet with telephone function into an ultramodern, 6-inch phablet with Full HD based on Intel's platform. Its contender is Samsung's Galaxy Note 2. It's 1:0 for Asus in terms of price.

ASUS Fonepad Note 6 is a very interesting device which falls exactly into the phablet category, somewhere between phone and tablet in its dimensions. ASUS positioned it quite aggressively in terms of price, so the competition in form of Galaxy Note series doesn’t find itself in the most convenient position. In any case, great screen, loud speakers, good camera and excellent voice communication are recommendations on its own.

Up against the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Huawei Ascend Mate, the FonePad Note slots nicely into the growing trend for carrying a "phablet". The pocket-sized Fonepad Note has all the bells and whistles of a 3G smartphone on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean plus a 1920x 1080 Full HD Super IPS + display worthy of a 10-inch tablet.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).
Z2580: Soc with integrated dual core Atom processor clocked at 1.3 - 2 GHz (short bursts), a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 based GPU clocked at 400 MHz and a dual channel LPDDR2 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

It is a very small display format for smartphones. You should by no means be mis-sighted and you will generally see very little on the screen and only have a small resolution available. In return, the device should be very small and handy.
