The Aqara Home app version 5.1.6 is now available for iOS. This latest update arrives a couple of weeks after version 5.1.5 rolled out to Aqara smart home users with unnamed bug fixes.
Aqara’s latest iOS app is said to have new features, including support for the recently released Camera Hub G5 Pro. This smart security camera delivers video with a 2.6K resolution, with features like night vision, AI detection and Matter compatibility. It is currently available at Amazon for $179.99.
Plus, there are optimizations for HomeGuardian, a subscription-based cloud storage solution. Thanks to the latest update, you can now control multiple cameras simultaneously. On top of this, there is a new UI design for users of the Aqara Camera Hub G2H, G2H Pro, G3 and E1. The company also indicates that the update includes bug fixes, though it does not provide further details.
You can download the Aqara Home app version 5.1.6 for iOS from the Apple App Store. It is unclear when a similar update could arrive for Android, which was last updated to version 5.1.5. This brought enhanced Matter-bridging functions to users and refreshed the interface for the Camera Hub G3.
