Apple has now confirmed details for this year's World Wide Developers Conference. Rumoured to be the beginning of Apple's big AI push, WWDC 2024 is already being billed by Apple as a tool to showcase various 'groundbreaking updates'.

Roughly two months have passed since Apple sent invitations to this year's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC 2024). In short, the company outlined that WWDC 2024 would 'spotlight the latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS advancements'. Now, Apple has confirmed further details about this year's developer conference, which it has delivered through another press release.

For reference, WWDC 2024 will commence at 15:00 UTC on Monday, June 10. As always, Apple will broadcast its main presentation live on its website, as well as through its Apple TV app and on YouTube. Supposedly, the company will use its keynote to provide a 'first look at groundbreaking updates' that will be headed to its various platforms 'later this year'.

Based on current expectations, these updates will include iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15 and watchOS 11, among other OS revisions. Shortly after its keynote, Apple will then host its 'Platforms State of the Union', during which it will deliver 'a deeper dive' into its new OS announcements. Moreover, over 100 developer sessions will be held between June 10 and June 14, after which the winners of this year's Apple Design Awards and the Swift Student Challenge will be announced. Please see Apple's press release for more details.
