Apple is finally making it easier to browse and share apps for all Apple platforms directly in your web browser. The App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV is now available on a brand-new website.

The App Store has been offering a web preview for years, and now a completely redesigned web version is available. This not only offers preview pages for individual apps, but also allows you to browse the App Store, including the current sales charts, Apple's "Today" recommendations, and categories.

A button in the upper left corner of the screen allows you to quickly switch between all Apple platforms, which is convenient for browsing through the available software for the Apple Watch, Apple TV 4K or Apple Vision Pro before purchasing the corresponding product.

The website also includes a detail page for each individual app, where users can view screenshots, a video trailer, a description and user reviews. As before, the App Store continues to provide information about past app updates, the use of personal data and app tracking.

Apple Arcade is also part of the web version of the App Store, allowing customers to see which games are included in Apple's game subscription service for each platform. Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month, making it cheaper than the Xbox Game Pass, but it also features more casual titles rather than new AAA games. Anyone who buys a compatible Apple device can try out Apple Arcade for free for three months. If an app is selected in the browser of the correct platform, such as on an iOS app in an iPhone browser, it can be downloaded directly from the App Store.
