AMD's Strix Halo architecture is proving to be particularly popular among mini-PC manufacturers. While the adoption of the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and other Strix Halo APUs remains limited among laptop manufacturers, a new Strix Halo-powered mini-PC has hit the market almost every week lately.
For instance, Aoostar teased that it was preparing the Nex395 based around the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 only a few days ago to follow in the footsteps of the GMKtec EVO-X2 (curr. $1,499.99 on Amazon). Now, Aokzoe has provided fresh details about an alternative that it presented in late May.
To recap, the company previously revealed not only the mini-PCs' design in a series of photos but also that it would be available with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 too. Now, it has confirmed that the device will be receiving a global release at some point, just like the Aokzoe A1X before it.
Unfortunately, Aokzoe has decided against providing tangible details about its Strix Halo-powered mini-PC in its recent X post. Likewise, it has posted about the device since on Weibo. As a result, it is unclear whether the company intends to brand the mini-PC as the 'AI PC', 'A IPC' or the 'Hypermind Drive', which can all be made out in the images it has shared so far.
