At $29.99, the 8BitDo Ultimate C Bluetooth controller offers an affordable alternative to Nintendo's $64.95 Switch Pro Controller, but it has just become more attractive thanks to an Amazon discount stacked on top of a limited-time promotional coupon. 

The 8BitDo Ultimate C Bluetooth controller usually retails for $29.99, but there is a 6% discount on the orange version of the controller, and 8BitDo has a 15% Amazon coupon available for the controller for a limited time, bringing the total down to just $23.93 — a 20% discount all-in-all. The same 15% coupon applies to the other colour variants of the 8BitDo Ultimate C Bluetooth controller, but they are not discounted by an additional 6%, making them a less attractive deal. 

The designed-for-Nintendo Switch controller features all the face and rear buttons you'd expect, including digital triggers to keep the same feel as the Switch Pro controller. The controller also includes six-axis motion control, and 8BitDo has even managed to use long-lasting double-shot ABXY buttons and ALPS joysticks in the low price. 

8BitDo claims 16 hours of playtime from a full charge on the Ultimate C Bluetooth's internal rechargeable battery, with a not-shabby two-hour recharge time via a USB type-C port getting you back into the action. 

Although the 8BitDo Ultimate C Bluetooth controller is designed for the Nintendo Switch, it reportedly works perfectly fine in any games that have support for Switch controllers under Windows or Linux. Failing that, the DS4Windows open-source tool, published on GitHub emulates an Xbox 360 controller to make any Switch controller work on Windows.
