Amazfit wearable update brings dozens of new workout modes

Amazfit’s Helio Strap is receiving a new update: firmware version 3.22.0.1. This latest release for the fitness tracking wearable, released in 2025, is around 3.7 MB in size.
The change log for the Amazfit Helio Strap update version 3.22.0.1 has been shared by a user on Reddit. The release notes state that users of the wearable gain 51 new workout modes with this release. While these are not listed, the Amazfit team indicates that the latest options include indoor workouts, dance-related exercises and ball sports.
Alongside this wide range of new workout modes, users of the Amazfit Helio Strap also gain an update for the VO2 Max algorithm in this update. Unfortunately, the company has not explained how users will benefit from this tweaked algorithm. Plus, the version 3.22.0.1 release is said to bring various bug fixes and improvements to system stability. Again, no further details have been provided here.
The Amazfit Helio Strap firmware version 3.22.0.1 is currently rolling out in phases to users worldwide.
