Amazfit T-Rex Pro stars in unboxing video: Military-grade smartwatch with SpO2 sensor and real-time operating system for €169.90 (US$203)

It seems the Amazfit T-Rex Pro is going to be a lot of smartwatch for a very reasonable price tag. Turkish YouTuber Erdi Özüağ has posted an unboxing and hands-on video for the Amazfit T-Rex Pro that gives viewers a very good look at the latest smartwatch from the well-known brand. The rugged smartwatch comes in a small box that neatly contains the gadget and a connector cable. As soon as the wearable is turned on, it’s possible to see health-related utilities onboard, such as PAI for assessment, a heart-rate tracker, and the SpO2 measurement tool.

There are plenty of features for the Amazfit T-Rex Pro that are easily scrolled through, and the rugged smartwatch can be rapidly synchronized with a smartphone thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The unboxing video displays the full spec list for the T-Rex Pro, most of which had already been leaked. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the bright 1.3-inch AMOLED screen (360x360, 270 ppi), and there is 10 ATM waterproofing and MIL-STD-810G certification to add to the durability quotient of the Amazfit T-Rex Pro.

Apparently, the price tag for this attractive smartwatch is €169.90 (US$203), which is not that much more expensive than the regular Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch that currently costs €139.90 or US$139.99 in the company’s official online stores. While the Pro and non-Pro devices are quite similar, the former smartwatch brings additional water resistance (10 ATM vs. 5 ATM) and BioTracker 2 PPG, which can also check for the wearer’s stress levels. It's likely the release date for the Amazfit T-Rex Pro is imminent.
