Amazfit has announced a new smartwatch launch event on its AliExpress store. The launch event will commence on March 23, but it is already known that Amazfit plans to release the T-Rex Pro. The new model is an improved version of the T-Rex that Amazfit released last year, which is currently down to US$109.99 on Amazon.
Earlier this month, a Turkish YouTuber featured the T-Rex Pro in an unboxing video, but Polish retailer Allegro has gone one better by publishing its listing early. The T-Rex Pro remains orderable on the website too, where it is available in three colours called Steel Blue, Desert Grey and Black. Allegro has priced the T-Rex Pro at PLN 749, which equates to ~US$193, including taxes.

The listing also contains all the specifications that one could wish to know about the T-Rex Pro. As covered previously by the early unboxing video, the smartwatch has a 1.3-inch AMOLED display, is 10 ATM waterproof and supports various locations services including BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS and GPS. Moreover, the smartwatch has a 390 mAh battery that should last up to 40 hours of continuous GPS use.
The T-Rex Pro is compatible with the Zepp app too, which one can download on Android 5.0 and iOS 10.0 devices or newer. Accordingly, the T-Rex Pro supports Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and contains all the fitness features one would expect from the T-Rex range, such as a BioTracker 2 PPG.
