We reported last month that the MSI Bravo 15 gaming laptop with a Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU and an RX 6550M GPU could be had for only $999. Although the CPU on offer was quite good for a budget build, folks who wanted a more powerful GPU may have been left wanting more. Thankfully, the MSI Bravo 15 is back on sale with a substantially more capable GPU.

You can now get the MSI Bravo 15 with a Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU, an RTX 4060 laptop GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage for only $999 on Newegg. The discounted price is a whopping $300 less than the $1,299 list price (via slickdeals).

Based on the internals alone, the MSI Bravo 15 on sale should be plenty fast for high-refresh FHD gaming thanks to the CPU and GPU. The Ryzen 9 7940HS is on par with the Core i9-13900H in multi-core performance while matching the Core i9-12900HK in the single-core department per our Cinebench R23 testing. Combined with the RTX 4060 laptop GPU which performs similarly to the desktop RTX 4060 (Available on Amazon), the MSI Bravo 15 should handle demanding AAA games at FHD resolution with elevated graphics.

Additionally, the MSI Bravo 15 includes a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 720p webcam, and a nice port selection highlighted by two Type-A, one Type-C, one HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack.

All in all, the MSI Bravo 15 is a decently powerful gaming machine that, at the reduced price, should make for a solid buy.
