CES 2024 | MSI Creator M14 is the first to offer entry-level RTX 2050 Mobile GPU option in 2024
MSI has introduced several creator-focused notebooks at CES 2024 including the CreatorPro X18 HX, Creator Z17 HX, and Creator 16 AI Studio. Joining this lineup as a more mid-range option is the Creator M14.
The MSI Creator M14 is powered by Intel 13th gen Raptor Lake-H options up to the Core i7-13700H along with GPU choices up to the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. Interestingly, the Creator M14 is among the handful of laptops that continue to use the bare minimum RTX 2050 Mobile.
The Creator M14 comes with a 14-inch FHD+ IPS-level panel, although MSI doesn't specify other panel characteristics. The laptop can be configured with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to a 2 TB SSD: there's no scope for further storage expansion.
Connectivity options look to be decent with 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, HDMI 2.1-out, and a combo audio jack. Towards the rear, we find a sole Ethernet port.
An Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 card with Bluetooth 5.3 helps with wireless networking. Rounding up the specs is a 53.5 WHr battery that is charged with the supplied 120 W power adapter.
MSI is yet to specify pricing and availability details for the Creator M14, but expect it to launch alongside the other notebooks in this series.
