Deal | RTX 4060-touting MSI Creator M16 price slashed by juicy 24% in Amazon Prime deal
Amazon Prime Day is in full swing with everything from CPUs and GPUs to laptops scoring deep discounts. The MSI Creator M16 has also gotten the discount treatment, as Amazon Prime members can now get the laptop for 24% off the US$1,446.61 regular price (via slickdeals). According to Honey’s price history tool, the US$1,099.99 sales price of the MSI Creator M16 represents a 120-day low rate.
The MSI Creator M16, as the name implies, is MSI’s creator-focused machine with a 16-inch IPS display boasting a 2,560x1,600 resolution and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut. An RTX 4060 laptop GPU drives the panel alongside a Core i7-13620H CPU with 10 cores and 16 threads. Rounding off the internals are 32 GB of DDR5-3200 memory and 1 TB of PCIe storage.
Other notable specifications include a backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6, a 720p webcam, and a 53 Wh battery pack.
With an average rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars on Amazon, the MSI Creator M16 seems like a pretty capable machine. Based on the internals alone, the laptop should offer plenty of content creation as well as gaming performance. For instance, the Core i7-13620H appears only 4% behind the Core i9-12900H while matching the Alder Lake CPU in the Cinebench R23 Multi-Core and Single-Core benchmarks in our testing respectively.
Similarly, the RTX 4060 laptop board is a sufficiently powerful mid-range offering. The card has a raw graphical performance that is marginally better than the RTX 3070 mobile, as we measured an average 3DMark Time Spy graphics score of 9,693.
Put simply, the MSI Creator M16 is a powerful mid-range creator laptop that, with the current Amazon Prime Day discount, has become a pretty enticing deal.
