The AMD Krackan Point lineup became official at CES 2025, and now, mini PCs and laptops featuring the new APUs have slowly started to hit the shelves. Among them is the ASRock 4x4 Box AI350, which features the Ryzen AI 7 350, one of the lower-end options within the AI 300 series.
Under the hood, this Krackan Point APU features four Zen 5 and four Zen 5c cores. It also sports the Radeon 860M, which, again, is one of the lower-end iGPU options in the RDNA 3.5 lineup. It stands as a direct successor to the last-gen 760M but has 8 CUs (Compute Units), the same as the predecessor.
Now, even though the Radeon 860M isn't as capable as the upper-end 890M or 880M, it does hold up reasonably well when it comes to gaming. At least, that's what the latest test from ETA Prime is suggesting. Among all the games the YouTuber tested in the video is Spider-Man 2, which the mini PC ran at 1080p on Medium preset with FSR and frame generation turned on. The average was around 80 FPS.
Another game tested on the Radeon 860M is Forza Horizon 5. It was tested at 1080p on Medium preset, and the average was around 88 FPS. Doom Eternal ran great on the mini PC as well. ETA tested it at 1080p on Medium preset, and it stayed above 60 FPS throughout the session.
ETA Prime has also tested Fallout 4 at 1080p on Medium preset, and the game ran at locked 60 FPS. The final game tested on the Radeon 860M is Cyberpunk 2077, and the RDNA 3.5 iGPU held its ground reasonably well, and the average was around 57 FPS at 1080p on Low preset with FSR set to balanced.
Worth noting that ETA Prime has noticed that the power profile of the ASRock 4x4 Box AI350 is a bit weird. It seemingly doesn't stay at 51 W during gaming. Moreover, the mini PC has a relatively slower 5600 MT/s memory, which may have held the iGPU back a little (32 GB Kingston Fury 6400 MT/s kit available on Amazon).
