Acer ConceptD 500: Desktop PC debuts with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics

Acer has announced the ConceptD 500, a more powerful version of the ConceptD 100. While the latter comes with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Acer equips the ConceptD 500 with up to a Core i9 part. Acer has not confirmed which Core i9 processor will be available, though.

However, Acer has revealed that the ConceptD 500 will come with a choice between NVIDIA RTX A4000, GeForce RTX 3060 and GeForce RTX 3070 GPUs. Moreover, the machine will be configurable with up to 128 GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 RAM, a 2 TB HDD and 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 storage. For reference, the ConceptD measures 200 x 389 x 393.6 mm and comes with 2.5G Ethernet, plus Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.  

The ConceptD 500 will be available in Africa, Europe and the Middle East from September. In comparison, China will not receive the desktop computer until Q4 2022. Currently, Acer has confirmed that the ConceptD 500 will retail from €1,199 in the Eurozone and CNY 11,999 in China.
