ASUS reveals launch date for the ROG Phone 9 series
Less than a year after the launch of the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro, ASUS is ready to follow them up with successors. The Taiwanese tech giant has revealed the launch date of the ROG Phone 9 series which will include the base ROG Phone 9 and a higher-end ROG Phone 9 Pro.

According to ASUS, the ROG Phone 9 series will be unveiled on November 19. The event will begin at 7 PM Taipei time, 12 Noon in Berlin, and 6 AM in New York. ASUS has confirmed the phones will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, which isn't much of a surprise.
In addition to the date reveal, ASUS has also provided official renders of the ROG Phone 9. When compared to the ROG Phone 8, there isn't much difference. The display is flat with a centered punch hole and the back has the same camera island style. It still has three cameras and there are pressure-sensitive buttons on the right side.
What has changed is the finish; the position of the ROG logo which is now higher up, and the addition of a dot-matrix-style ROG logo at the bottom. There's also a text at the bottom that reads 'Republic of Gamers'.
The full spec sheet of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series is currently unknown. However, it was reported back in September that the ROG Phone 9 Pro will have support for 65W fast wired charging just like the ROG Phone 8 Pro (curr. available on Amazon for $1,199.99).
