ASUS has made the Android 11 beta available for the ZenFone 7 Pro. The beta version of Google's latest OS is available for those who enrolled in the public beta testing program. Recruitment for the beta program closed on October 5.
The first update is a 1.1 GB download and carries the build number 30.04.31.30. Since the build is on a limited release, ASUS has not published a download link, and it only appears to have been delivered as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade. Hosting a public beta program should allow ASUS to collect real-world bug reports too, which may speed up the release of Android 11 for the ZenFone 7 Pro.
Not only does 30.04.31.30 bring Android 11 to the latest ZenFone, but it also brings a host of other changes. These include revamping the mobile manager, contacts and phone apps, among others. Device controls in the power menu, bubble notifications and notification history have been added, too. ASUS is yet to confirm when it will be rolling out a stable Android 11 update to the ZenFone 7 Pro though, or the ZenFone 7 for that matter.
