The Nubia Watch is available to order globally after a successful Kickstarter campaign. The smartwatch costs US$219, which is rather expensive, but it is a unique device with its curved display. Specifically, Nubia has equipped the Watch with a flexible 4.01-inch AMOLED screen, giving a somewhat space-age look. Nubia insists that the smartwatch has been 'designed for comfort and durability', though. The panel has a resolution of 960 x 192 pixels, for reference.
The Watch is IP54 certified and should last up to 36 hours between charges with normal use. Nubia claims that the smartwatch can go seven days in power-saving mode, although it is unclear what this quite means. The Qualcomm 8909W SoC powers the Nubia Watch, as does have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.
Nubia has also integrated a heart-rate monitor, sleep tracking and multiple sports modes. Additionally, the Watch has an e-SIM, along with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Nubia Watch is available in two colours and is shipping now for free globally.
