Samsung has started beta testing One UI 3.0 in Europe. Testing began in South Korea and the US last month and remains limited to the Galaxy S20 series. The S20 FE is not eligible for One UI 3.0 beta yet though, and you must have an unlocked S20, S20 Plus or S20 Ultra to participate.

The One UI 3.0 beta program has arrived, albeit only in South Korea, the US and now Germany. Samsung has opened the initial beta build to any Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra, but the Galaxy S20 FE has missed the cut for the time being. We imagine that the latter will be eligible to download One UI 3.0 beta builds eventually, though.

If you want to install One UI 3.0 beta on your S20 series device, then you can do so through the Samsung Members app. Once downloaded, the app should present a banner that allows you to join the program. Samsung also explains all steps within its Members app. Please note that One UI 3.0 beta can only be installed on unlocked, or 'DBT' handsets. You can check whether yours is a DBT device by reading the characters contained in 'Provider software version' under Software Information from within the main settings menu.

The initial beta carries the build number G98xxXXU1ZTJA and is a 1.8 GB download. Android Central has provided an overview of what One UI 3.0 brings to Samsung smartphones, but it is unclear when stable builds will start arriving. Similarly, Samsung is yet to confirm whether any other smartphone series will be added to the beta program, such as the Galaxy Note 20 series.
