ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM: Pricing details for new OLED gaming monitor revealed as pre-orders open
ASUS has released the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM after presenting the gaming monitor two months ago at CES 2023. To recap, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQD has a 26.5-inch OLED panel that resolves at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (2.5K/1440p) in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, ASUS claims the monitor reaches 450 nits when viewing SDR content but 1,000 nits with HDR content.
Moreover, the monitor has 0.03 ms response times (GtG), a 240 Hz refresh rate and 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage with Delta E <2 colour deviations. ASUS adds that the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM has a custom heatsink and a wide vent to dissipate heat and improve OLED panel longevity. Furthermore, the monitor has an 'anti-glare micro-texture' coating to reduce glare in bright rooms and a custom voltage optimisation algorithm aimed at delivering uniform brightness across its entire panel.
ASUS has included AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility too, as well as DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports. Also, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM has 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts, a height-adjustable stand. Please see ASUS' website for more details. Currently, the gaming monitor is pre-orderable in the UK for £1,098.95, including VAT. Alternatively, ASUS will sell the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM in the US for US$999. While Newegg has already listed the monitor in the US, it has not yet made the monitor available to purchase. According to TFT Central, Overclockers UK expects stock in April.
