The Asus ROG Phone 6 is on the way. Over a year after launching the ROG Phone 5, Asus has now officially announced its plans to bring the ROG Phone 6 to the market as a direct successor in the vaunted gaming phone line.
On its official ROG Global account a short while ago, Asus finally revealed the launch date for the ROG Phone 6. The gaming phone will make its grand debut on July 5, "for those who dare". It will, of course, be a virtual event, and the company has also confirmed that it will launch new accessories and new gaming headphones alongside the ROG Phone 6.
Details of the ROG Phone 6 remain elusive, but it can be expected to be equipped with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with sophisticated cooling solutions for even better sustained performance. We expect the rumor mill for the gaming phone to ramp up in the coming weeks, so fans of the series will likely have a better idea of what to expect from the ROG Phone 6 even before its July 5 debut.
