AOOSTAR teases external graphics card solution with unreleased AMD Radeon GPU
While AMD is yet to announce the Radeon RX 7650M XT, AOOSTAR has announced its plans to release an external graphics card solution with the GPU around July. The company made this announcement on its official Discord channel and said that the eGPU device will be similar to ONEXGPU (curr. $749.99 on Amazon), which came with RX 7600M XT.
When asked about the unreleased GPU, the company representative confirmed that it's "a small model," hinting that the Radeon RX 7650XT is based on the already available RX 7600M XT. It could simply have a slight spec bump, such as more memory or higher TGP.
AOOSTAR has also said that it plans to release "several specifications" of the external graphics card solution. This could mean that there will be more than one model featuring different AMD Radeon GPUs. While the company has also shown pictures of a "new independent graphics card product," it looks more like a mini PC than an eGPU dock.
The good part is that the company representative said they would be showing off the first version of the sample tomorrow, which will offer more details on the product. Also, as the product is being teased on the official Discord channel with international buyers, we will likely see it launched in global markets alongside the Chinese launch.
